Dear Reader:

Hi! I’m a girl who loves singing and dancing. Nothing makes me happier than a fabulous song, a great costume and a stage to perform on. So, I guess it shouldn’t come as any surprise that I am the author of a new Glee Club mystery series. In my professional performing career, I’ve experienced the highs and lows that come with the job—the hope that comes with every audition, the anxious waiting for the phone to ring, the disappointment when the call never comes, and the joy that fills you when you land the gig and the roller coaster ride begins all over again.

Classical singer and music theater performer, Paige Marshall is on that up and down ride. Based in the suburbs of Chicago, Paige is waiting for the phone to ring and for her performance career to take off. But until that day comes, she has to make a living. So, Paige takes a job as a high school show choir coach. Heck, after the trials and tribulations of being a professional performer teaching teenagers should be a cinch. Right?

Wrong.

The show choir wants to win competitions this year and they don’t believe a classically trained singer can lead them to victory. Paige is determined to win them over, but finding a rival show choir director murdered throws a wrench into her plans. And when someone points the finger at her best male singer...well, Paige feels compelled to ask some questions and set him free.

If that wasn’t enough to keep Paige busy, there’s a recital to perform in, a large standard poodle intent on making her go hungry and a possible romance to explore—especially if Paige’s matchmaking Aunt Millie has anything to say about it. Throw in a sexy, pastel wearing theater director, a militant yoga instructor, an eccentric Italian pianist and a lot of high school kids with both talent and attitude and you have MURDER FOR CHOIR, the first of the Glee Club Mysteries.

Paige and company’s debut performance begins July 3rd. I hope when the show is over, you’ll want an encore.
