Bex Levy was starting her first season as a figure skating researcher for network 24/7, and most of the skating she’s learned has been on the job. At the World Figure Skating Championships, Bex thinks the biggest job she’ll have is to keep the pair of married commentators from squabbling on the air, but that’s before the final night of the ladies competition. The Russian skater wins the gold over the favored American skater, and everyone from media to fans to some skating experts are outraged and proclaim a fix. It turns out that the Italian judge cast the deciding vote, so when she turns up dead the next day, there seems to be foul play at hand.
