Meg Chittenden
Diana Gordon is a photographer and private investigator in
San Francisco when she is shot one day while taking a
picture of a man she is investigating for insurance fraud.
She assumes the man she is investigating is the one who
shot her, but the police find no evidence and let him go.
Diana recovers and sells our her part of the business,
moving to the small town of Port Findlay, Washington. Connor Callahan is a chiropractor in Port Findlay and
is
still mourning the death of his young wife. Connor and
Diana meet when handling the local photography exhibit.
When they arrive to open up the show for the judges, they
discover the body of Rosemary Barrett, the president of
the
Arts Alliance––she’s been shot. While Diana and Connor begin investigating the murder
of
Rosemary, Diana can’t help but wonder if this shooting is
related to the one she suffered in San Francisco.
