John J. Lamb

Shenandoah Valley mystery author John J. Lamb draws on his rich background as a former Southern California police homicide detective sergeant and hostage negotiator to craft fast-paced and gripping novels. He now lives near the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife Joyce, a retired latent fingerprint expert and crime analyst, and their six “rescued” cats and two golden retrievers.

Like the characters in The Mournful Teddy, John and Joyce are avid teddy bear collectors. They attend bear shows all over the country and, at last count, own over 600 stuffed animals, most of which are on display throughout their home.

John is a popular public speaker who regularly gives presentations throughout the country. He’s in demand for such diverse venues as major mystery author and fan conferences, artisan teddy bear shows, and charity events.

Each book in his Bear Collector's Mystery series will feature a profile of an actual teddy bear designer.

Books:
The Treacherous Teddy, September 2009
The Clockwork Teddy, October 2008
The Crafty Teddy, November 2007
The False-Hearted Teddy, June 2007
The Mournful Teddy, August 2006
